The Royal Park Canvas Sapporo Odori Park

A major project that brings together the development and management capabilities of the Mitsubishi Estate Group.
A challenge to create a hotel where you can "experience Hokkaido".

In October 2021, we opened “The Royal Park Canvas - Sapporo Odori Park,” Japan's first high-rise hybrid wooden hotel.

About 80% of its structure wood is from Hokkaido. The restaurant contributes to the local industry by introducing a thorough approach to local production for local consumption, such as serving local ingredients.
In addition, the hotel expresses our SDGs concept through environmentally friendly innovations throughout the hotel, such as guest room interiors made from waste construction materials, cushion covers made from recycled fishing nets from marine debris, and the use of biomass products for guest room amenities.

Through regular events held on the rooftop terrace and the 2nd floor lounge, the hotel is loved not only by tourists but also by locals as a “hotel open to the community.”
