Mitsubishi Estate (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") recognizes that personal information of the customers/clients of the Company is important and endeavors to handle and protect such information appropriately in accordance with the basic policy for personal information protection of the Company.

1. The Company will use personal information for the fulfillment of contracts, the operating activities including provisions etc. of information/guidance/service and the marketing activities including customer trend analysis/survey analysis of product development etc./creation of statistical information, etc. within the scope of the following business purposes in the Company and its group companies.

(1)  Possession, management, and lease of real estate

(2)  Entrusted service for management and lease of real estate

(3)  Purchasing, sales, brokerage, and appraisal of real estate

(4)  Construction/renovation and sales of housing

(5)  Possession, management, operation, and lease of sightseeing and amusement facilities

(6)  Management of hotels and restaurants

(7)  Management of cableway business

(8)  Development of residential and industrial lands etc.

(9)  Dredging and reclamation of harbors and rivers, etc.

(10) Design, administration and contract work for construction and civil engineering

(11) Business in accordance with the Real Estate Specified Joint Enterprise Act

(12) Investment in specific purpose companies, special purpose companies (companies specified in the Ordinance on the Terminology, Forms, and Preparation Methods of Financial Statements, etc.) and real estate investment trusts, and purchasing, sales, brokerage and management of such investment equity

(13) Preliminary survey and consulting services on real estate investment

(14) Consulting services on management, operation, sales and liquidation of real estate

(15) Provision of information on real estate investment, and survey and analysis of the real estate market

(16) Management and administration of parking/car washing places and entrusted services for such management and administration

(17) Entire operations relating to the business specified in the Heat Supply Business Act

(18) Management and administration of fee-based homes for the elderly and entrusted services for such management and administration and consulting

(19) Various in-home services and designated in-home long-term care services in accordance with the Long-Term Care Insurance Act

(20) Operations relating to solicitation of life insurance and insurance agency business in accordance with the law relating to property damage insurance and the Automobile Liability Security Act

(21) Security services in accordance with the Security Services Act

(22) Travel agency services such as offering/order acceptance of domestic and overseas package tours in accordance with the Travel Agency Act

(23) Money loan secured by real estate, a right relating to real estate or securities and other money loans, and administrative services for such loans and loan guarantees

(24) Purchasing and sales of used articles, and sales of cigarettes, revenue stamps, stamps, postcards, gift certificates, admission tickets of movie/play/concert/sports event and building materials, etc.

(25) Export, import, wholesale and sales of clothing items, cosmetics, fashion goods, foods and beverages/alcoholic beverages, etc.

(26) Sales, rental and agency services for such sales and rental for the following items
Gardening supplies, furniture, interior articles, sporting goods, books, office supplies, daily necessary and miscellaneous goods, caring articles, medical devices, health equipment, interior decorations, home electric appliances, air purifier, water purifier and home dust collector

(27) Telecommunications business and internet provider business in accordance with the Telecommunications Business Act

(28) Entrusted services for operation, development/installation of equipment and maintenance of high-speed data communication system, and sales of such system, and consulting services

(29) Development, manufacture, sales, rental, export, import, maintenance, and management of computers and peripheral devices

(30) Subsidiary business for each of the preceding items

2. The Company may provide third parties, such as its group companies, and related parties with personal information to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes described in the above section 1. In such a case, the Company will provide required items such as name, belonging entity/department/job title, address/telephone number/facsimile number, e-mail address, and real estate information verbally/in the forms of electronic data, printed material such as address label or summary list, etc. The Company will stop such provision to third parties upon request from its customers.

3. The Company may jointly use personal information with its group companies and related parties to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes described in the above section 1. In such a case, the items of personal information are the required ones such as name, belonging entity/department/job title, address/telephone number/facsimile number, e-mail address and real estate information. Office Building Business

Purpose of Use

The Company will collect and use personal information for the following purposes related to its office building business.

1. For the operating activities related to purchasing and sales/development/lease/brokerage services of real estate (the operating activities mean the activities including visit, dispatch of direct mail/brochure, and solicitation/service/information provision by telephone/electronic mail, hereinafter referred to as "Operating Activities."), the fulfillment of contracts and the marketing activities (the marketing activities mean the activities including questionnaire survey, creation of statistical information and survey analysis and hereinafter referred to as "Marketing Activities") in the office building business of the Company.

2. For management services related to lease business (the management services in lease business mean the services including understanding/conduct/notification of constructions and operations in facilities, monitoring of entering/leaving visitors in facilities, crime prevention/security, disaster prevention, order maintenance in facilities and other services/information provision, and hereinafter referred to as "Lease Management Services") in the office building business of the Company.

3. For Operating Activities, the fulfillment of contracts and the Lease Management Services for leased housing in the office building business of the Company.

4. For the reviews of the clients related to the above sections 1, 2, and 3.

5. For holding explanatory meetings for neighboring residents and explanation to/negotiation with neighboring residents related to building construction plans in the office building business of the Company.

6. For the notifications to members/users/clients/client candidates/related parties, the Operating Activities and the Marketing Activities as necessary for the operations of convenient facilities, such as meeting rooms, facility management-related services, and information provision services provided by the Company.

7. For notifications, the Operating Activities and the Marketing Activities to participants/applicants in various seminars/events. (*In the case of this purpose, the Company may provide partner companies with required items such as name, belonging entity/department, job title, address/telephone number/facsimile number, e-mail address and real estate information verbally/in the forms of electronic data, printed material such as address label or summary list. The Company will stop such information provision to partner companies upon request from its customers. In addition, if such seminar is cohosted by the Company and other organization/company, the Company and such cohosting organization/company may jointly use required items such as name, belonging entity/department/job title, address, telephone number/facsimile number, e-mail address, and real estate information with this purpose as the purpose of joint use. In such a case, the Company will be responsible for management of personal information.)

8. For confirming users of the personal computer utilization services in the facilities managed by the Company.

9. For the proposals of effective utilization of real estate and the information understanding regarding parties receiving such proposal.

10. For the conduct of purchasing of real estate, such as land, and the management services of real estate, such as land purchased by the Company in the office building business of the Company.

(*The Company and Mitsubishi Jisho Residence Co., Ltd., which is a group company of the Company (excluding sales/development of real estate), may jointly use required items such as name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, annual income, place of employment/occupation, age/date of birth, family structure, and real estate information with this purpose as the purpose of joint use. In such a case, Mitsubishi Jisho Residence Co., Ltd., will be responsible for management of personal information.)

2. For management services related to lease business (the management services in lease business mean the services including understanding/conduct/notification of constructions and operations in facilities, monitoring of entering/leaving visitors in facilities, crime prevention/security, disaster prevention, order maintenance in facilities and other services/information provision) in the residential business of the Company.

3. For operations of recreational facilities/Operating Activities, the fulfillment of contracts, the trend analysis of customers using facilities and the Marketing Activities. (*In the case of this purpose, the Company may provide Higashinihon Kaihatsu Co., Ltd., and MEC Urban Resort Tohoku Co., Ltd. (both managing golf courses), which are its group companies, with required items, out of the data of members of the golf courses which the Company manages, such as name, address, telephone number/facsimile number/mobile phone number/e-mail address, annual income, occupation/employment (job title)/school, age/date of birth, sex, educational background, work experience, sports experience, membership status of other golf courses, family structure and real estate information verbally/in the forms of electronic data, and printed material such as address label or summary list. The Company will stop such information provision to these two companies upon request from its customers.)

4. For the reviews of the clients related to the above sections 1, 2, and 3.

5. For the improvement of operations and the Marketing Activities for planning enhancement in the residential business of the Company.

6. For the conduct of after-sales services related to property for sale (including sales of business office) and the product planning/improvement of standard specifications in the residential business of the Company. (*The Company, Mitsubishi Jisho Residence Co., Ltd., which is a group company of the Company, and after-sales service companies for each property may jointly use required items such as name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and real estate information with this purpose as the purpose of joint use. In such a case, after-sales service companies for each property will be responsible for management of personal information.)

7. For the purchasing of land and the management services of land purchased by the Company in the residential business of the Company.
